Psychology Master's student Denali Woodruff (mentor: Dr. Ksenija Marinkovic) received the 2019 Western Psychological Foundation Student Scholarship Award for her poster presentation on Neural Indices of Hyperexcitability in Individuals with Fibromyalgia as a Function of Pharmacological Treatment, a collaborative study with Dr. Terry Cronan.

Congratulations to Rifqi Affan, an undergraduate psychology student, on receiving the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. Rifqi is a MARC scholar (Maximizing Access to Research Careers: NIH/NIGMS), he is the first author on a recently published manuscript investigating spontaneous neural oscillations in young binge drinkers, and is a recipient of the Dean’s Award for this work at the Student Research Symposium in 2017.
